Every year, thousands of skilled karigars leave their families and villages to find work in jewelry clusters in big cities. They leave because the work doesn't come to them. We're changing that. Our decentralised workshop network brings retail orders directly to karigars in their own villages — alongside the B2B volume that keeps their workshops running year-round. When a Craft piece ships from Vellismith, a karigar in a village earned what they deserve. Their family stayed together. Their craft survived another generation.
Never inflate the price of a sourced product.
If we source it from a wholesaler, we price it at what it costs us plus a reasonable margin. Not at what we think we can charge because of our branding. The moment we start adding a "brand premium" to a mass-produced piece, we become the problem we set out to solve. Our Bazar section exists to keep us honest.
Never hide where something comes from.
Every product on our platforms tells you how it was made and where it came from. Karigar crafted means a person made this. Workshop made means we produced this in small batches. Market sourced means this design exists widely and we're offering it at a fair price. Transparency is not a risk. It's our only competitive advantage.
When we charge more, it's because someone earned it.
Our Craft pieces cost more because karigars spent hours on them. Our Trendz pieces cost more than Bazar because our designers and workshop invested time and skill. Every price we set has a human reason behind it. The trust we build through honest pricing is worth more than any margin we sacrifice to earn it.
