Domestic & International delivery information
How We Ship
All Vellismith orders are dispatched from our workshop in Kolkata, West Bengal through Shiprocket's courier network. Every piece is quality checked and securely packaged before it leaves us.
Dispatch Timeline
We are a craft-first business. Some designs are available immediately. Others are made after your order is confirmed. We do not always know in advance which applies to your specific piece.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Many orders dispatch significantly faster — we will keep you informed. We will not promise a timeline we cannot guarantee for every design in our catalog.
If your order needs to be dispatched earlier than 15 working days please send us a text over WhatsApp or shoot an email with order id.

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your order total after any applicable discounts.
Cash on Delivery
- COD is available for domestic orders only — within India.
- Minimum order value for COD: ₹1,999.
- A COD handling charge of ₹130 is collected upfront at checkout. This charge is non-refundable regardless of whether you accept or reject the delivery.
- COD is not available for international orders.
International Shipping — Outside India
All international orders are prepaid. COD is not available outside India.

- International delivery timelines are in addition to our standard dispatch timeline of up to 15 working days.
- Tracking ID provided within 2 working days from dispatch.
- Door-to-door delivery only — no PO Box deliveries.
- Courier will attempt delivery up to 3 times.
International Duties & Taxes
International shipments may attract additional duties or taxes at the destination country. The customer is responsible for clearing any such charges with the courier to release the goods. Exact amounts vary by country and cannot be quoted in advance.
Vellismith is not liable for failure, delay in delivery, or damage caused by events beyond reasonable control — including acts of nature, civil unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order is dispatched you will receive a tracking number via WhatsApp and email. If you have not received a tracking update within 15 working days of your order confirmation, contact us immediately.

Delivery Attempts & Undelivered Packages
- Our courier partners make up to three delivery attempts at your provided address.
- Please ensure someone is available to receive the package or provide delivery instructions in your order notes.
- If all attempts fail and the package is returned to us, re-dispatch charges will apply and the original shipping charge is non-refundable.
- We have to rely on courier partners to get your orders delivered and if there's any dispute regarding delivery attempt we have to rely on courier partner's version.
- For COD orders returned undelivered, the ₹130 COD handling charge is non-refundable.
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your delivery address at checkout. We dispatch to the address provided at the time of order. We cannot redirect shipments once dispatched. Vellismith is not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
Packaging
All orders are packed securely to protect your jewelry during transit. If your package arrives visibly damaged, videograph and photograph it before opening and report to us within 48 hours of delivery via WhatsApp at +91-9062982656.
